A classic on how to plot a screenplay. VERY relevant to us long-form writers as well. I use this book to plot my outline based on the 3-act structure. I also have the companion book “The Foundation of Screenwriting”, but find the workbook much better structured. And leaner. It gives exercises that add up to a blueprint to quickly and painlessly plot a rough outline. I then fill in the rough outline with Libbie Hawker’s system as described in “Take off your pants.” I own the paperback because I use the book all the time.
