End hovering Pin It buttons

If you use images on your blog or in your email newsletter and have the Pinterest Pin It extension on your browser, you’re going to love this. (Or everyone else on the planet has figured this out, except me. But now we all know.)

The Pinterest extension often covers up the tiny X on an image in MailerLite, for example, and makes writing my newsletters more of a chore than it should be. But there’s a way to turn off the hover and keep the extension. Everybody’s happy.

To fix it, go to Preferences in your browser.

First, click on Extensions,  then on Options.

Click on Hide hovering Pin-It buttons.

Close the preferences tab. The Pinterest button is still available, but the hovering buttons are gone.
